Orest
Balaban hails from a diverse musical background. He's played country
music in El Paso honkytonks, baffled audiences and sidemen alike playing
progressive psychadelijazz from L.A. to Reseda, toured Europe with the
Eels, and even played in the Moorpark College Big Band and Orchestra.
Tragicaly, Orest also began playing folk and bluegrass in forbidding venues like the Santa Anita Racetrack, and Calico Ghost Town. Since joining PLOTZ!, Orest is reorientetated and speaks in full sentences once again.
Orest enjoys smart women, strings of colored lights, and flannelcakes.
